Every time you make a successful card payment with your Kolo USD Card, you automatically earn cashback in BTC.
🎉 New Cardholders Bonus! If you issued your first Kolo USD Card after December 11, 2025, you get 5% cashback for 30 days from your card activation date.
Standard Cashback Rate: After the promotional period (or for existing users), earn 2% back on every transaction over $1 USD.
Eligibility
The cashback program is available to:
✅ Individual users with a Kolo USD Card
✅ All card transactions over $1 USD
✅ Purchases at any merchant worldwide (no category restrictions)
The following are not eligible:
❌ Corporate / Business cards
❌ Co-branded cards (affiliate/white-label cards)

When Is Cashback Credited?
Cashback goes through several stages before it reaches your balance:
⚠️ Kolo reserves the right to limit or disable cashback for individual accounts if suspicious or abusive activity is detected.
Status | What It Means |
Pending | Cashback calculated after successful card authorization |
Canceled | Authorization was reversed — cashback is voided |
Waiting for Payment | Transaction cleared — cashback is ready for payout |
Paid | Cashback credited to your BTC balance |
Payout schedule: Cashback is paid out once per day for all transactions that cleared the previous day.
Exchange Rate
Cashback is calculated in BTC using Kolo's exchange rate at the moment of your card authorization — not at the time of payout.
Where to View Your Cashback
You can track your cashback directly in the Kolo app:
Cashback icon in the app footer — shows your total earned, monthly stats, and pending cashback
Transaction details — each card transaction shows the associated cashback amount and status

Cashback is credited after the transaction clears (typically 1–3 days after the purchase). Check the transaction status — if it still shows "Pending," the card transaction is waiting for clearing.

This can happen if:
The transaction was under $1 USD (no cashback earned)
You hit the $5 USD max in equivalent of BTC per transaction
You reached your $200 USD in BTC equivalent monthly limit
Can I use my BTC cashback right away?

Yes! Once your cashback status is Paid, the BTC is added to your balance and you can use it immediately — send it, swap it, or keep it.
