The Kolo app shows the highest cashback rate currently available to you. If your rates differ by card (e.g. 1% on your USD card and 2% on your EUR card), the app displays 2%, while each card still earns at its own rate.

Cashback is always paid in BTC; the limits below are set in the card's currency equivalent:

When Is Cashback Credited?
Cashback goes through several stages before it reaches your balance:

Pending | Cashback calculated after successful card authorization |
Canceled | Authorization was reversed — cashback is voided |
Waiting for Payment | Transaction cleared — cashback is ready for payout |
Paid | Cashback credited to your BTC balance |
Payout schedule: Cashback is paid out once per day for all transactions that cleared the previous day. If a transaction is refunded before its cashback has been paid out, the pending cashback amount is reduced accordingly.
Kolo reserves the right to limit or disable cashback for individual accounts if suspicious or abusive activity is detected.
Exchange Rate
Cashback is calculated in BTC using Kolo's exchange rate at the moment of your card authorization — not at the time of payout.

You can track your cashback directly in the Kolo app:

Cashback is credited after the transaction clears. For USD card transactions this typically takes 1–3 days; EUR card transactions can take up to 14 days to clear. Check the transaction status — if it still shows "Pending," the card transaction is waiting for clearing.

you reached the per-transaction cashback cap
you reached the monthly cashback limit
the transaction was not eligible for cashback
a transaction was refunded before its cashback was paid out — refunds reduce pending cashback
