Prerequisites
Before activating your card, you must complete KYC verification.
Once your identity is verified, you may be eligible to activate your card.
Card Availability
Completing KYC does not automatically mean that card issuance is available in every case.
Card availability depends on the card program assigned after verification and may also be limited by your verification country, document country, and regulatory requirements. In some cases, card issuance may be restricted due to regulatory requirements in your country. However, you may be able to onboard using alternative documents, such as a residence permit from another country, depending on eligibility.
If card issuance is not currently available for your KYC, the card option may not appear in the app even if your verification has already been completed successfully.
If card issuance is available for your account, you can continue with card activation below.- Card creation or activation may be restricted if your account has reached the maximum number of cards allowed by the issuer. In such cases, new card requests may be rejected, and any reserved funds will be returned to your wallet.

Our technical team is automatically notified when issuing takes longer than 10 seconds
The team works to resolve the issue immediately
When to contact support
If your card is not issued within 30 minutes, we recommend contacting support. However, this is extremely rare.

Multiple Cards and Profiles (Wallets)
Kolo allows you to manage multiple wallets and cards with the following limits:
Profile (Wallet) Limits
You can create up to 100 profiles (wallets) in your account
Each profile (wallet) can have only 1 active card at a time
Active Card Limits
You can have up to 3 active cards across all profile (wallets) at any given time
To issue a 4th card, you'll need to terminate one of your existing active cards first. Additionally, card issuers may impose their own limits on the total number of cards you can create, which cannot be adjusted by Kolo.
Example scenarios:
✅ Wallet A: 1 active card, Wallet B: 1 active card, Wallet C: 1 active card = 3 active cards total (allowed)
❌ Wallet A: 1 active card, Wallet B: 1 active card, Wallet C: 1 active card, Wallet D: attempting to activate = 4 active cards total (not allowed)
