Cash Withdrawal

You can now withdraw cash from ATMs using your Kolo USD card. This feature is currently available for USD cards only.

You can now withdraw cash from ATMs using your Kolo USD card. This feature is currently available for USD cards only.

How it works

Kolo cards are virtual — there's no physical plastic card. To withdraw cash, add your Kolo USD card to Apple Pay or Google Pay, then tap your phone or smartwatch at a contactless/NFC-enabled ATM.

Where you can withdraw cash

You can withdraw cash at contactless/NFC-enabled ATMs worldwide, except:

  • Countries restricted for card payments — the same sanctions-based restrictions apply to ATM withdrawals. See the full list in In Which Countries Can I Use My Kolo Card?

  • 🇺🇦 Ukraine — ATM cash withdrawals are not available. This applies to all banks and ATM networks in Ukraine. Withdrawal attempts will be declined due to card provider restrictions.

Withdrawal limits

  • Maximum per withdrawal: $500

  • Maximum withdrawals per day: 3 (per rolling 24 hours)

There's no separate weekly or monthly ATM limit — your general Kolo account limits still apply on top of these card-specific limits.

These ATM limits are fixed and cannot be increased.

Fees

  • ATM withdrawal: $1.00 + 0.65% of the withdrawal amount

  • Balance inquiry: $0.60

  • Declined ATM transaction: $0.60

Example:

Withdrawing $100 → fee = $1.00 + 0.65% × $100 = $1.65

Total deducted: $101.65

Fees are charged at the time of the ATM transaction and deducted directly from your card balance.

Good to know

  1. Withdrawing in a currency other than USD? Standard currency conversion rates will apply.

  2. Some ATMs charge their own on-screen surcharge — this fee is set by the ATM operator, not by Kolo.

  3. Travelling? Check the restricted-countries list before you rely on ATM withdrawals.
