How to Send Funds in Kolo

This article explains how to send funds from your Kolo wallet using the Send feature.

Available send options

  • To Kolo User

  • To Crypto Address

  • To IBAN

  • To Card

  • Between Your Wallets

Available options may depend on the currency you select.


Send to a crypto address

Use this option if you want to withdraw crypto from Kolo to an external wallet or platform.

  1. Tap Send

  2. Choose To Crypto Address

  3. Select the currency you want to send

  4. Enter or paste the wallet address

  5. Select a supported network

  6. Enter the amount

  7. Review and confirm the transfer


Send to IBAN

Use this option to withdraw money from Kolo to a bank account.

IBAN transfers are available exclusively within the SEPA (Single Euro Payments Area) region, which includes countries in the European Union and select others like the United Kingdom.

These transfers are processed on business days (Monday to Friday). Funds typically arrive in the destination IBAN account within 1 to 7 business days.

Transfers to countries outside the SEPA region are not supported.

  1. Tap Send

  2. Choose To IBAN

  3. Select the currency

  4. Enter or paste the IBAN

  5. If needed, add extra bank details

  6. Enter the amount

  7. Review and confirm the transfer

Kolo only allows bank withdrawals to your own bank account. That means the bank account must be registered in your name.


Send to a card

Use this option to send funds from Kolo to a bank card.

  1. Tap Send

  2. Choose To Card

  3. Select the currency

  4. Enter or paste the card number

  5. Choose a saved or recent card, if available

  6. Enter the amount

  7. Review and confirm the transfer

You can only send to a card registered in your name. Attempting to withdraw to a card not in your name will result in a failed transaction.


Send between your wallets

Use this option to move funds between your own wallets inside Kolo.

  1. Tap Send

  2. Choose Between Your Wallets

  3. Select the wallet you want to send from

  4. Select the wallet you want to move funds to

  5. Enter the amount

  6. Review and confirm


Send to another Kolo user

This is the fastest way to transfer funds inside Kolo. More details are covered in Send Money via Email — How It Works.


What you see before confirming

Before you complete the transfer, Kolo shows a review screen with transfer details.

Depending on the transfer type, this may include:

  • Sender wallet

  • Recipient destination

  • Recipient gets

  • You pay

  • Fee

  • Exchange rate

  • Memo, if required

This is your final chance to check everything before sending.

⚠️ Always double-check the destination details before confirming. Crypto and bank transfers may not be reversible once sent.


After the transfer

You may also be able to view Transaction details and save the address, card, or IBAN for future use. The transfer will also appear in your transaction history.

✅ Check the final amount, fee, and exchange rate before confirming

✅ Send only to your own bank account or your own card where required


FAQ

Why can’t I send to this crypto address?

This usually means the address is invalid, unsupported, or not available for the selected currency/network.
Try checking:

  • the wallet address

  • the selected currency

  • the selected network

Can I send funds from one currency and have the recipient receive another?

Yes, in some transfer flows Kolo may convert your balance before sending. You’ll see the final amount, exchange rate, and fee on the review screen before confirmation.

Where can I check the status of my transfer?

You can check it in your transaction history and in Transaction details after the transfer is created.

Why is my transfer still processing?

Some transfers take longer depending on the transfer type, network load, bank processing time, or additional checks.
