Business Onboarding — How to Onboard Your Company to Kolo

Kolo Business helps companies manage spending, fund business wallets, and issue cards for employees through a dedicated business dashboard.

What Is Kolo Business?

Kolo Business is the company account environment in Kolo.

It allows businesses to:

  • create and manage a company accounts

  • issue business cards for employees

  • manage your business worldwide spendings from one place, including payroll, business expenses and many more.

Step 1: Create a Business Account

The business dashboard is available via web browser.

To get started, register your company at: my.kolo.in/business

You'll use your business email to create the Company Admin account, which manages your company profile and business wallets.

Step 2: Complete KYB Verification

Before your company can use Kolo Business or issue business cards, you must complete KYB (Know Your Business) verification.

KYB verification includes:

  • submitting company registration documents

  • verifying the company director

  • verifying Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBOs) with 25% or more ownership

Identity verification is completed through an external verification service.

Step 3: Wait for Approval

Once all documents and verification steps are completed, your application is reviewed.

In most cases, onboarding can be completed within 1 business day, provided that:

  • company documents are submitted promptly

  • the company director completes verification

  • all required UBOs complete verification

If verification links expire, support can issue new ones.

Step 4: Fund Your Company Wallet

Once KYB is approved, fund your company wallet using supported deposit methods.

Deposited funds can be used for:

  • issuing business cards

  • company expenses

  • managing spending across employees

Supported funding methods depend on the assets and networks available for your account.

Step 5: Start Using Business Features

After onboarding is complete and your wallet is funded, you can start using business features such as:

  • wallet management

  • business spendings

  • business card issuing

  • employee access management

FAQ

Can I onboard more than one company with the same admin email?

No. Each user email address can be associated with only one primary account in the system.

What happens if one of the verification participants does not complete their step?

Your company onboarding may remain incomplete until all required verification steps are finished.

Can I onboard more than one company with the same UBO?

Yes. The same UBO can be associated with multiple companies.
To onboard another company, you need to register a separate company account using a different email address. There is no limit to the number of companies a UBO can be linked to.

Can I rename my company?

Yes. You can update your company name in My CompanyBusiness details. There you can edit your Public name, which is the name visible to recipients when your company sends payments.
