Kolo Web3 Wallet — How It Works
Kolo Web3 Wallet is designed for direct blockchain interaction and supports TON-related Web3 activity.
Once you import your wallet, you can manage assets, send transactions, and access supported Web3 features directly in the app.
Access and security
Your Kolo Web3 Wallet is protected by the security method you set up during onboarding.
This usually includes:
a wallet password
optional Face ID or fingerprint authentication, if supported on your device
This protection controls access to the wallet in the app and helps secure wallet actions.
You control your Web3 wallet. Keep your wallet password private and do not share it with anyone.
Wallet address and balances
Each Web3 wallet has its own blockchain address.
Your wallet balances are linked to that address, and supported assets will appear in the wallet interface when available.
Balance updates may depend on blockchain activity and app synchronization.
If you have more than one wallet, each wallet has its own address and balances.
Transactions and confirmations
Transactions in the Kolo Web3 Wallet are processed directly on the blockchain.
This means:
transactions depend on blockchain confirmation
network fees may apply
processing time can vary depending on network activity
completed blockchain transactions usually cannot be reversed
Before sending assets or confirming any transaction, always review the address, amount, and available transaction details carefully.
Main wallet actions
You can use your Web3 wallet to:
Top Up — receive or add funds to the wallet
Send — transfer assets from the wallet
Connect — connect the wallet to supported Web3 services or flows
Imported wallets
Kolo also supports importing an existing Web3 wallet. If you import an existing Web3 wallet, Kolo restores access to that wallet using your recovery phrase.
The imported wallet keeps its existing blockchain address, balances, and on-chain history connected to that address.
If you need more information about importing or restoring wallet access, see Kolo Web3 Wallet — Backup and Recovery.
Important to know
To use your Web3 wallet safely:
keep your wallet password private
store your recovery phrase securely
double-check recipient addresses before sending
review transaction details before confirming
make sure you understand that network fees may apply
